According to paragraphs D and E of Animal Protection Law Number 5199
The Duties of Province Animal Protection Committee
Substance 16
d) Various individuals to monitor and orientate the activities of associations
and committees and to maintain coordination concerning the protection of the
animals.
e) Will be appointed and liable to support, provide continuous development and
to take necessary precautions concerning the Animal Shelters and Hospitals which
will be established within the province.
We request for an Inspection Crew to be constituted in purpose of inspecting and
developing of Büyükada Animal Shelter per paragraphs D and E of Animal
Protection Law Number 5199.
We request for the inspection crew to be constituted from a total of 3
individuals; 2 individuals being from a non-governmental organizations, and for
the shelter to be inspected on regular basis and necessary accommodations to be
maintained per the criteria's outlined.
As outlined clearly by substance 16. and in regards to providing support,
development and orientation to Buyukada Animal Shelter, your municipality is
obliged to work in coordination both with non-governmental organizations and
Province Animal Protection Committee
We urgently request for an inspection crew to be constituted from a total of 3
individuals; 2 individuals being from a non-governmental organizations, and for
Istanbul Büyükada Shelter to be inspected per the outlined criteria's and
necessary development to be maintained per the results.
In addition, we request for the results to be submitted in a written statement
of a case regarding the regular inspections conducted throughout the year of
2004 and 2005 by the Governorship, Agricultural Provincial Directorate and
Environmental & Forestry Provincial Directorate to our side.
We request to inquire information in regards to the number of inspections
performed to the shelter and by which units were these inspections conducted
throughout the year of 2004 and 2005.
I request of a written response to my petition, per Law No. 3071 Petition Law
and Law No. 4982 Procure Information Law.
