Dear Madam or Sir,
It's a real big shame for Romania what was going on on Christmas Eve
in SUCEAVA, the horrible stories that found its way also to many
citizens in other countries and will throw a very bad light to
Romanian culture and people. The animal rights association Bruno
Pet's birth certificate is dated December 30, 2004 because of
the cruelty against animals happened in this town. All people
who read the reports are completely terrified for the tragedy of the
dogs from the City Hall shelter.
"The Christmas holidays were sullied by hot pitch by some knavish
with Human face. Hot pitch in which were thrown some poor beings
created by Good God too, but defenseless and wordless face to the
human ill nature, locked into a humid stinky lock-up room, under a
broken roof through which it rains. It was not enough the
barbarian way they were cached and dragged along the trucks,
strangled by wire, kicked by clubs and feet, raised in the air and
than flung on the ground.A hideous show, which all population
of Suceava assisted for months. It was
not enough the long starving, the coldness and the tortures they
suffered there, away from the civilization. No! All this sadistic
debauchery, broken loose, we repeat for months under the
tolerant eyes of the Mayor and the bosses of The Public Domain
Department (with their complicity) has to be spiced with something
stronger, spicier. Something inspired from the tortures of the hell,
invented by a devil mind, who cannot delight but the show of the
suffering came to the Earth exactly in the Christmas Eve, then the
priest hallows our houses and the
children, by their Christmas carols, purify and high our souls with
the new of birth of our Lord Jesus. And then, it rushes over us the
avalanche of those horrible nightmare views with tortures, so cruel
that they look unbelievable to those who did not see them.
But our surprise was bigger
when, waiting the results of a serious and objective inquest, they
served us a puerile version taken over directly from the
responsible: the poor animals lain down on a bitumen treated
floor and the pitch became hot from the temperature of their
bodies inducing them those wounds and those terrible pains.
Finally, everything got the label of negligence on duty and was
punished by some administrative penalties which mildness that
shocked us by their disproportion face to the atrocity of the
facts, is equivalent to a support.
We tried to save the wounded dogs, giving medical help. After
that we made adoption certificates with the City Hall shelter,
hosting the dogs in Bruno Pet's shelter. In the "extinction
camp" there are still 300 dogs in mortal danger. Bruno Pet has
almost nothing and is already overloaded with 475 wounded, sick and
scared, stressed, puppies, some of which are in a terrible state,
and pregnant dogs.
We are determined to STOP this flood of unbearable pain, these
death-traps where animals exist in frightful conditions. We want no
more of this shame, this intolerable sacrifice of hundreds of dogs.
We wish to put an immediate stop to the atrocious killings of
street dogs in Suceava and implement a spay / neuter and
release and / or adoption programme. This is why we ask for
help. We'll be very grateful for any kind of help: food, medication,
medical assistance, training, advice, cages, and construction
materials. This is a bad situation for our rescued dogs (also
for all of them) because the cages are so thin and no roofs on
enclosures. Horrors happen in XXI century and the horrible things
some human beings can do. that such shameful acts be never repeated
by anyone, or otherwise we are wrong and we are not living in
civilization, but in full Middle Eve."
I also urge you to help this organisation and the poor and tortured
dogs in this town and do everything that is possible for you
to prevent similar animal pain in Romania, because such horror
happenings gives people in other countries a bad impression of
Romania and blockades tourism.
Thank you very much in advance and kind regards,
